Marcel Duchamp felt sorry for some objects, which would have never got any attention if he didn't exhibit them. In Sara Swynar's project colours turn unattended objects into magic.
Except colour in Photography can be easily manipulated, which means it's never genuine.
Sara's objects are readymades and certainly existent. They are grouped by their mutual colour as sculptures. Turned into two dimensional photographs, these assisted readymades somehow manage to represent retinal art.
Solid as photographs, they can easily be destroyed as juxtaposed objects. I'd love to see them in their most fragile state as installations.
